This project explored the creation of a new/expanded State Government complex at a planned rail station in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Several existing building were to be torn down to make way for the new development; others were to remain.
Total development was to be over 1.5 million square feet (roughly 2/3 of which was to be new).
The scope of the project involved developing physical planning options that resolved the need for a large amount of office space in a campus configuration, and addressed structured parking, open space, transit connectivity, and other issues. Several options were explored. The project was not ultimately built.
Brian Jennett developed the initial plans while employed as a Senior Consultant in Real Estate Strategy for HOK.
