This project is large-scale (130 ha, 2.2 million sqm GFA) land development on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. Anticipated to become a new commercial and administrative center, the target population is approximately 30,000 residents.
Scope involved providing market assessment and a financial feasibility study. Ran financial models on development alternatives for various 1st phase projects. Made recommendations regarding the structuring of investments and packaging of properties.
Coordinated the effort to connect the developer with other investors through a public road-show (with booth, model, exhibits, marketing materials) at regional real estate conferences.
Worked with the client and its consultants to answer relevant questions from investors regarding the general legal, tax, and accounting environment in Cambodia, and government incentives/other benefits available to those participating in the project.
Completed while a Senior Consultant at AECOM.
An initial phase of the project has been built.
